Ostia Antica

The first Roman colony, founded in the 4th Century BC, as a fortified city and then an important port of Rome.  There one lives the history of Rome throughout the centuries, from the 4th Century BC to the 4th Century AD, with outstanding remains, testimonies to the great power of Rome.

Tivoli Gardens

Built in the 15th Century by Cardinal Ippolito d'Este, son of Lucrezia Borgia and nephew of Pope Alexander VI.  Known for the beautiful garden and elaborated fountains, the most famous in the world.

Hadrian's Villa

Built by the Emperor Hadrian in the Second Century AD.  The largest and most beautiful villa of the Roman Empire, with monuments that evoke the different regions of the Roman Empire.  Extended for at least 200 hectares.  Exquisitely decorated.  The works of art originally in the villa are now found in various museums.
